This practical workshop combines Airway and Ventilation education. Adult Retrieval Victoria (ARV) and Paediatric Infant Perinatal Emergency Retrieval Services (PIPER) are excited to support you with your learning in the critical care sphere.

This session includes the Difficult airway, Failed intubation, Respiratory support and Complex ventilation. Learn tips and tricks to scaffold your delivery of acute care.

Trauma Training Workshop


DATE: Friday 18 September 2026

TIME: Half day

VENUE: RACV Cape Schanck

Using a real trauma case scenario, facilitators will guide participants through the principles of effective trauma scripting to enable optimum communication and enhance team collaboration. Attendees will learn practical techniques for leading and scripting a trauma case from patient arrival through to resuscitation and disposition planning.

This interactive, case-based workshop will include small group tabletop simulations, allowing participants to practise trauma communication strategies in a supportive environment. There will also be opportunities to discuss and workshop challenging and interesting trauma cases with experienced facilitators.

POCUS Procedures Workshop

Learn how to perform POCUS procedures safely and easily.

Procedures include - wrist fracture haematoma block, pericardiocentesis, shoulder block, joint aspiration and nerve block and vascular access.
